Septic Service Areas Across the Alberni Valley

Every property brings its own set of challenges, and working on a rural lot feels completely different from working on a lot in town. When we take on a job in town, we deal with tight boundaries, paved driveways, buried power lines, and neighbours close on both sides. We often have to squeeze our excavator between fences, work around retaining walls, or protect flowerbeds while we locate a hidden tank. You rarely have extra room to expand a drain field on a small town lot, so we have to make every foot of usable soil count.

Out on rural acreages, you usually have plenty of space to lay out a proper drain field, but the terrain creates other hurdles. We have to steer our heavy pump truck up long gravel driveways, navigate steep slopes, and dodge low tree limbs just to get near your tank lids. Rocky bluffs, hardpan layers, thick clay, and high groundwater can limit where we are able to dig. We also have to watch where your drinking well sits, since we must keep your sewage dispersal far away from any water source you rely on for household drinking. If your acreage borders a ditch, a pond, or running water, we have to respect those natural waterways too so nothing leaches into the surrounding land.

Whether your home sits on a compact street in town or out among trees and rocky hills in the valley, we take the time to evaluate the ground carefully. We check your soil, locate all water lines, and design or repair your setup around the real shape of your property so you never have to worry about unexpected failures.
